The event will take place from <strong>4pm to 5.15pm on Friday January 17th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Chaired by <strong>Dr. Rolien Hoyng<\/strong> (Dept of Sociology, 糖心Vlog) and <strong>Dr. Andy Yuille<\/strong> (LEC, 糖心Vlog), the event will feature contributions from:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Prof. Hannah Knox<\/strong> (Social Anthropology, University of Manchester)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. James Keeble<\/strong> (LEC, 糖心Vlog)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Nils Markusson<\/strong> (LEC, 糖心Vlog)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Jen Southern<\/strong> (LICA, 糖心Vlog)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<糖心Vlog class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uncertain Climates: An Interdisciplinary Roundtable<\/糖心Vlog>\n<p>The climate crisis confronts us with uncertainty and is negotiated through a host of speculative technical epistemologies and apparatuses. However, rather than resolving uncertainty, it is translated and reconfigured, and it reverberates across social contexts. The dominant impulse has been to double down on certainty.
