The first meeting of a new society took place in Infolab last week. About 40 attended the AISoc meeting and plans have been made for future meet ups. There has been great interest in the society ensuring this group will have an active presence on campus.

Professor Alona Armstrong, Director of Energy Lancaster, has been named in the ENDS Report Power List 2025 for her groundbreaking research into the environmental impacts of renewable energy. Her work promotes nature-positive solutions, influencing science, policy, and practice to ensure energy decarbonisation benefits ecosystems and supports a sustainable future.
