PhD studentEngineering Bacterial Microcompartments for Biotechnology
As part of my PhD research, I am dedicated to exploring the potential of bacterial microcompartments as innovative platforms for sustainable biotechnology. The goal is to utilise these microcompartments to develop plant biofactories, which can help producing valuable compounds in a more environmentally friendly and economical manner. This involves a multidisciplinary approach that harnesses the power of microorganisms, genetically engineered plants, and cutting-edge biotechnological tools to create sustainable plant systems.
