Feedback Focus aims to explore your experiences of the library. Our focus In October 2025 was on discovering the library and what it has to offer.

You found out about the library in a range of ways, including:

  • During open days and offer holder days
  • From friends and other students
  • By seeing it on campus
  • Online via the website or Instagram page

Your pitch to a friend who doesn’t use the library would tell them that:

  • It’s a welcoming, comfortable and modern environment
  • There are a variety of study spaces and noise levels around the building
  • It helps you ‘lock-in’ and focus on your work
  • There is access to lots of books and resources, both academic and non-academic
  • It’s open 24/7 in term time

Suggestions you made to make it easier to find library resources and services included:

  • Clearer maps and signage and easier ways to locate books in the library
  • More guidance on how to use OneSearch
  • Increased publicity about what services are available e.g. via email, Instagram and TikTok
  • An AI chatbot
  • More education on how to use the library e.g. via online tours, videos and guides
