Dr Alexey Akimov
Senior LecturerI joined Lancaster in 2012 following the completion of my doctoral studies at the University of Reading. My research interests lie in the areas of real estate finance and economics. Further areas of interest include commonalities in housing and commercial real estate cycles, the inflation-hedging characteristics of real estate as an asset class and long-run pricing dynamics in real estate markets. My research has been published in the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Regional Studies and Urban Studies.
