Dr Emrah Ali Karakilic
Lecturer in Management and Organisation StudiesEmrah Karakilic holds a PhD in sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London. He has been acting as the book review editor of since 2022. He acted as a co-editor for between 2022-2025. Emrah is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
Dr Emrah Karakilic’s research spans the intersections of critical organisation studies and heterodox political economy. His work interrogates the evolving nature of capitalism, the politics of production, and the relationship between human subjectivity and socio-economic structures. Dr Karakilic is interested in the implications of technological advancements for contemporary organisations and work dynamics. His research also examines the transformative effects of artificial intelligence (AI) on professions and the restructuring of work in organisational contexts.
