Our qualified yoga instructor, Helen teaches yoga to children aged 12 months to 4 years. Yoga is a fun and exciting way for children to not only keep fit and develop their physical skills but it further helps to develop their imagination, language skills and many other aspects of development within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Activities and Learning
The extensive knowledge and expertise of the Pre-School Centre staff alongside the rich environment provided, supports the learning and development of each individual child. All the daily activities alongside any additional enhancements provided are included with your session fees.

Our qualified Forest School Leader, Joanne delivers sessions in our very own forest environment. Using natural materials and resources the children have the opportunity to build dens, use tools safely and learn how to manage tasks independently.

Development Matters sets standards for the learning, development and care of your child from birth to 5 years old. All schools and Ofsted-registered early years providers must follow the Development Matters guidance, including Childminders, Pre-schools, Nurseries and School reception classes.

Meals and snacks provided at the Centre are included in the fees and aim to encourage a healthy, well balanced diet.? The menus include a variety of foods from the main food group, providing key nutrients for a growing child. Staff are there to support the children and help make meal times feel social, setting good examples of table manners and encouraging conversation.

As a large well-established setting, which benefits from its green campus location, our staff and children are afforded a host of opportunities to learn about sustainability and enrich their Cultural Capital. We actively engage the children in recycling initiatives, make regular educational trips to the EcoHub, and proactively reuse materials we source in the University’s annual ‘Don’t Ditch It’ campaign.
We are rated 'Good' by Ofsted following an inspection in July 2025.
