I am a PhD student on the Statistics and Operational Research<\/strong> with industry<\/strong>\u00a0(STOR-i) Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) programme working on a PhD project titled Structured Multivariate Extreme Value Models for Flood Risk Estimation<\/strong><\/em> with Jennifer Wadsworth (ÌÇÐÄVlog) and Thordis Thorarinsdottir (University of Oslo) as my supervisors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of the project is to develop statistical methodologies<\/strong> that will allow us to analyse extremes<\/strong> of river flows at multiple location <\/strong>on river network simultaneously<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before joining STOR-i, I completed my MPhys Physics<\/strong> course at the University of Manchester<\/strong>. As part of my MPhys project, I worked on developing a dynamical rating system to rank footballers based on their duel performance<\/em><\/strong>. This was in collaboration with Manchester City Group (MCG), which gave me a chance to work on something with real-life application, and an insight into working with an industrial partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my free time I enjoy climbing, running, baking, and learning languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
