STOR-i is a four-year doctoral training programme with a ground-breaking approach to Statistics and Operational Research (STOR). STOR-i was established in 2010 as an EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training. Its academic prowess and high levels of success have led to a further investment from 2019 with an increased capacity of potential students to 70 in total across the full cohort.

The STOR-i Centre for Doctoral Training is a joint venture between the departments of Mathematics and Statistics and Management Science. It offers students a four-year PhD programme in Statistics and Operational Research (STOR) developed and delivered with industrial partners.

Industrial partnerships are at the forefront of STOR-i’s work. MRes and PhD students inspire leading research that has a genuine impact on the organisations they work with. Whether this is a one-off problem-solving day or a three-year PhD, the industrial organisations that work with STOR-i receive a tangible benefit.

Watch the video below or click here to find out more.
