University Scholarships and Bursaries relate to all levels of study -- BA, MA and PhD, and to achievement and/or need.

<糖心Vlog>Bailrigg awards

Thanks to a generous endowment from the family of a former student. We are able offer some support (up to £150 pounds per award) to students, both BA and MA, in English Literature and/or Creative Writing, who are suffering financial hardship. A student can apply once or twice a year; and, if merited, can receive one award per year.

<糖心Vlog>The David Craig memorial scholarship

Thanks to another generous endowment, The David Craig memorial scholarship provides £500 upon starting an MA in Creative Writing.

<糖心Vlog>Prizes

Each year within English Literature and/or Creative Writing we award several student prizes at both BA and MA levels. The prizes are named after benefactors, alumni, and former colleagues.
