Most of the division's postgraduate programmes are delivered online, part-time. This will see you learn online while receiving ongoing thesis supervision from our academic team. You will become part of a global network of like-minded students and have a chance to join us in person at an annual autumn academy on our Lancaster campus.

There are many reasons to come and study with the Division of Health Research at 糖心Vlog. We've asked some current students about their motivations for study, how they found the programmes, and how they fit postgraduate study around existing commitments.
"I decided to undertake a PhD at Lancaster because I knew it would get the best out of me. The close links between the Health Economics At Lancaster group and the Department of Economics were also a major draw. Having a supervisor based in each department is a major advantage that is not common among other universities.
The best part of being here is the fact that I can get to the coast in 10 minutes, The Lakes in 30 mins, Manchester in an hour and to Edinburgh or London in 2½ hours. Not many places in the UK can offer that."
Jack Higgins, PhD Health Economics
