Ruth Goodman is a freelance historian, who pursues a practical approach to discovering the past. She is well-known to television audiences for Tudor Farm, Victorian Pharmacy, Victorian Farm, Edwardian Farm, Wartime Farm and Wartime Farm Christmas. She is the author of a number of books, including How to be a Tudor and, most recently, The Domestic Revolution: How the Introduction of Coal into our Homes Changed Everything.
