1) Sign up and join the MBC community below!

You’ll receive regular email updates, support and opportunities for you and your school, college or early year’s setting. The form will take less than 10mins and there are no restrictions on who can sign up.

2) Embed resources into your teaching/curriculum

All the resources on this website are designed to link place and environment to the National Curriculum and are under-pinned by the Head, Heart, Hands Pedagogy. They have been designed in partnership with local educators to ensure they are relevant to your learners.

3) Climate Action opportunities for your learners through Our Bay Our Future

Thanks to the National Lottery’s Community Fund, Our Bay Our Future provides free climate action programmes for children, young people and practioners, that support us all to getcurious, grow our confidence and look after our local area.

4) High quality CPD for educators and youth practitioners

Join our community of practice and build your skillset through our working groups, the Our Bay Our Future Green Fellowship, the MBC Green Working Groups, regular workshops and ourannual conference. Hear more by signing up as a member of our network below.

By signing up as a member of the Morecambe Bay Curriculum you will receive:

  • A regular newsletter full of opportunities and resources
  • Access to MBC resources
  • The latest news from Our Bay Our Future
  • Invites to help grow the MBC through working groups, networking opportunities and MBC projects
  • Access to free or subsidised events and CPD opportunities
  • The option for your organisation to use the Morecambe Bay Curriculum logo on your resources and website
  • The option to showcase your work by submitting stories to be featured on the MBC website as an example of best practice

In turn, we ask that all Educational members:

  • Are committed to promoting Morecambe Bay, sustainability, health, community and economic wellbeing for young people and the wider community 
  • Engage with and share CPD events and networking meetings
  • Commit to filling in a short annual review form or have a short call with the MBC team
  • Commit to care-taking the MBC brand, including using the logo according to the brand guidelines and licensing agreement
