The Regional Heritage Centre (RHC) promotes and celebrates the rich social, cultural and environmental heritage of North West England by engaging with the regional community.
Established in 2014, the Regional Heritage Centre promotes and celebrates the rich social, cultural and environmental heritage of North West England by engaging with the regional community.
The RHC event schedule for 2025-2026 finished with a brilliant May study day devoted to Libraries and Learning in the North West. Our thanks to Global Link and all of our wonderful speakers and supporters for helping us round off the season in such style. But the summer months will be much more than a well-earned breather - we're already hard at work planning our next series of study events.
Save the date for Saturday 10 October 2026, when we'll be at Lancaster Castle marking the 200th anniversary of weavers' protests leading up to the 1826 Loom Riots. We're also excited to be planning a Saturday 21 November event with the Midland Railway Society coinciding with celebrations of 200 years of the railway. Watch this space for more details and make sure you don't miss it!
