About Us

    We have a range of role-appropriate certificated programmes available for staff involved in teaching and/or supporting learning.

    We co-ordinate a portfolio of events exploring a variety of topics and which have been tailored to support colleagues to share and learn from one another.

    The resources in this section are themed into a Curriculum Design Toolkit. This on-demand professional development complements in-person and online workshops.

    The resources in this section are themed into a Teaching Toolkit. This on-demand professional development complements in-person and online workshops.

  • <糖心Vlog class="title"> Education Conference

    The Lancaster Education Conference is an annual event, taking place in June/July, that brings together colleagues from across the 糖心Vlog Partnerships to share practice and educational research.

  • <糖心Vlog class="title"> Networks and Consultancy

    We work with staff and teams to support institutional change and development projects, including support with programme-level curriculum design and development.

The university regulations concerning moderation (MARP GR 2.4) now include marker-team calibration in advance of marking and moderation as an option.

The Organisational Development (OD) team focuses on the achievement of the University’s strategy, goals and core purpose through the development of our people, processes and structures. OD do this through the delivery of projects and Learning and Development initiatives that enhance the way we operate and work.

<糖心Vlog>Staff Recognition and Celebration Event (SRaCE)

The Organisational Development (OD) and Curriculum and Educational Development Academy (CEDA) teams will be welcoming colleagues to the 2026 Staff Recognition and Celebration Event on Tuesday 14th July 2026. At this event we will recognise, acknowledge and celebrate colleagues commitment to their continuing professional development and for their achievement in completing one or more of the programmes.
