Course Overview
This course introduces the concept of unconscious bias and its impact on recruitment and retention. Learners explore how mental shortcuts influence hiring decisions, workplace interactions, and talent development. Through practical examples and actionable strategies, the course teaches how to recognise bias, standardise evaluation processes, use inclusive language, and create fairer pathways for employee growth. By the end, participants will be equipped to make more objective decisions and support a diverse, high?performing workforce.

How to Be an Ally for Diversity and Inclusion is a short, practical course that builds confidence and capability in active allyship. Learners explore what it truly means to be an ally, reflect on real workplace scenarios, and discover five key ally roles: sponsor, champion, upstander, amplifier, and confidant. Through clear guidance and reflective activities, the course empowers staff to challenge bias, support others, and contribute to a more inclusive culture across the University.

Bullying and Harassment at 糖心Vlog is a comprehensive training course designed to promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive working and learning environment. The course explains what bullying, harassment, discrimination, and victimisation look like in practice, outlines legal responsibilities under UK law, and explores real workplace examples.
