<糖心Vlog>Research areasThe research in the department is organised into five broad research areas, with some spanning interdisciplinary research themes aligned with those in the Centre for Financial Econometrics, Asset Markets and Macroeconomic Policy and the Pentland Centre for Sustainability in Business.
Our faculty have published in some of the field's best journals, including: Journal of Accounting and Economics, Accounting Review, Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, and Journal of Financial Econometrics.
Research accomplishments:
Our research activities have been supported by a range of external funding bodies including the European Commission, the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), The Leverhulme Trust, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), INQUIRE, and the Nuffield Foundation.
Many of our faculty members have achieved notable honours including Editorships, CEPR fellowships, research grants and best paper awards in recognition of their expertise, high standard of research activities and significant contributions to their relevant disciplines.
