The Lancaster Opportunity Scholarship will be available to UK (Home fee-paying) applicants who are part of our Contextual Offer Scheme, Medicine Contextual Offer Scheme, or who successfully complete the Lancaster Access Programme or Realising Opportunities programme.

There is no separate application process for the Lancaster Opportunity Scholarship. Eligible students will be identified automatically through their University application.
The Lancaster Opportunity Scholarship can be combined with the Lancaster Scholarship, if an applicant meets the academic criteria.
Before the end of October, eligible students will receive an email to confirm the details of the award, including the payment dates and how the award will be paid.
This scholarship cannot be deferred to a future year of entry. If you do choose to defer your offer, your application will be reassessed for any scholarships you might be eligible for in that year of entry.
